Afin de mener à bien la restauration
du mur sud, nous prévoyons de construire un échafaudage suffisamment solide
pour que le travail de maçonnerie se déroule de manière confortable et
sécurisé.
Au Sikkim, les échafaudages sont
généralement construits en bambous, et ils ne suivent pas du tout les mêmes
règles de sécurité qu’en Europe !

For now, we
took care of ordering the material and we will build the scaffolding only when Robert
(mason) is here, just before starting the work. Sikkim is very rich in bamboo
that grows in the humid forests. We ordered from Toong, 200 pieces of strong
and long bamboos (12cm thick, 5m long), a nightmare for the truck driver
particularly in the narrow curves of the road!
