Le travail commence en -bas sur le mur de partition. Il faut créer une ouverture pour insérer un étaiement temporaire passant de part en part du mur, depuis le porche jusqu'au hall, afin de travailler à la stabilisation du mur de partition qui a tendance à s'ouvrir et s'écarter (voir schéma).
The work starts with the partition wall. An aperture must be created in order to insert a temporary wooden support that will go through the wall from the porch to the main hall. The objective is to consolidate the wall which has the tendancy to open from the middle (see drawing).

Mélodie réalise une protection temporaire de l'enduit peint afin que le travail de gros oeuvre n'endommage pas les peintures murales. A près dépoussiérage, elle applique du cyclododécane en boombe puis colle du papier japon avec de la méthylcellulose à 4%. Après séchage elle pose des presses en mousse mises en tension avec des bambous.
Mélodie makes a temporary protection of the painted plaster in order to protect it from the vibrations caused by the structural restoration work. After dusting she applies cyclododecane in spray, on top of this she glues japanese paper with methylcellulose. After drying of the glue, she applies presses made of foam and bamboo sticks.

Dans les combles, côté façade, l'angle du mur présente des désordres importants. Ici, le côté droit de la façade, Robert et Martin travaillent au remontage de la section.
In the attic, the wall angle on the facade's side is partially collapsed. Here on the right side of the facade, Robert and Martin work on the reconstruction of the section.
Les deux maires du village (Pipons=maires), qui s'appellent Nawang et Palzor, rendent visite à Robert jusque dans les combles! Il s'intéressent particulièrement aux outils et observent attentivement les pierres et le travail.
The two mayors of the villages (Pipons) Nawang and Palzor visit Robert on the construction site even in the attic of the temple. They take a close look at the tools, the stones and the work.
En une après-midi, l'angle de la facade à droite est déjà remonté! Chapeau!
