Sarah joined the team! For her first day in the Lachen Mani Lhakhang, lots of work awaits her: take off a painting on canvas from the partition wall in the hall, edge pointing, workshop settlement, cleaning of fragments' back.

Revers de la toile après dépose depuis le mur de partition. La toile a été déposée afin de faciliter le travail des muraillers et pour aplanir la peinture en vue de sa remise en place sur le mur.

Après nettoyage du revers, la toile peinte est retournée et un cartonnage est effectué avec du papier japon et de la methylcellulose afin d'aplanir l'oeuvre.
After cleaning the back, the painted canvas is put face up in order to flatten it with japanese paper and methylcellulose.
Une fois le cartonage sec, l'oeuvre est retournée afin de consolider le revers par des fils à fils à la PVA et une impregnation de colle animale.
